About us…
Known to be one of Melbourne's hardest-working live bands, Headhunters are comprised of three core members - Bassist Nadia Ricciotti, Drummer Elliott Orban, and Guitarist Marcelo Machado. Coming from a range of varied backgrounds and with experience in the industry, the band has developed an unrivalled stage presence.
Our wide team of hosts and additional musicians allows us to find the perfect fit for each event or public gig.
Headhunters holds a weekly residency at The Provincial Hotel in Fitzroy every Thursday, and a monthly residency at Penny Black Brunswick.
The band has been performing in several different venues both in Melbourne and all over Australia such as Shotkickers Thornbury, Stay Gold Brunswick, Globe Alley CBD (RIP), Blue Moon Bar CBD (RIP), The Gasometer Hotel Collingwood, The Mersh Yarraville (RIP), Prince Bandroom St Kilda, Max Watts CBD and many more.
The band has toured Australia as the backing band for Silverback Touring’s Icons & Legends Bon Jovi Show in 2021.

Nadia Ricciotti
Armed with her bass guitar, Nadia is the heartbeat behind your favourite tunes. Hailing from from Melbourne, she has been thumping the strings for a while now and has a heap of experience playing for some of the most in demand cover bands in town. She is all about spreading fun and friendly vibes while showing her deep seated love for the groove.
Elliott Orban
Every great brand is as good as its drummer. Elliott is a full time working musician both performing and teaching. He is a top gun.
Marcelo Machado
Marcelo has been in the electrifying world of live performance for more than 25 years now. He’s an experienced and versatile guitarist that can play anything from The Beatles to Van Halen. He can be described as a “riff jukebox” - name the song and he will play it!
Marcelo hold very high standards when it comes to live shows, over the years he worked and toured in different roles with several international artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen (SWE), George Lynch (Lynch Mob, USA), Buckcherry (USA), Fozzy (USA - Chris Jericho), Black Flag (USA), Candlebox (USA), Slaughter (USA), H.E.A.T (SWE), Janet Gardner (USA - ex-Vixen), Tyketto (USA), Jetboy (USA), Pretty Boy Floyd (USA), Crashdiet (SWE), The Cruel Intentions (SWE), Faster Pussycat (USA), Eclipse (SWE), Enuff Z’ Nuff (USA), TUFF (USA), Stryper (USA), Wednesday 13 (USA), Pseudo Echo (AUS) and many more.
